Carbon prices can fluctuate like any commodity, depending on supply, demand, and regulations. However, with Alberta’s stricter compliance rules and a rising carbon price, we expect offset credit values to increase over time.

Carbon prices in Alberta are expected to rise from $50/tonne in 2022 to $170/tonne by 2030. Since we pay customers a percentage of the sale price, higher carbon prices mean you earn more from your offsets.
